Want to work as a Childminder or in a nursery? We are offering 6 people sponsorship for an Online Cache Childminding Training Course Level 3 (recognised by Ofsted) to qualify

 

Nursery

St Mary’s and Kingsland Action Group, in partnership with West Itchen Community Trust, are offering 6 people who are residents within the St Mary’s, Golden Grove or Kingsland area, an opportunity for sponsorship which will qualify them to child mind at home or work in a nursery.

The qualification is an Online Cache Childminding Training Course Level 3 (recognised by Ofsted) and will take about 3-6 months to complete. The sponsorship also includes a pediatric first aid course and DBS check. The qualification is paid for in exchange for unpaid work experience.

To qualify for sponsorship, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • To be a resident of the St Mary’s, Golden Grove or Kingsland area
  • Have working broadband at home and suitable IT skills
  • Can study for at least 4 hours a week
  • Can attend unpaid work experience, caring for children in our meetings, events and activities in your area (maximum 8 hours a month)
  • Are over 18 and have legal permission to study or work in the UK
  • Have no legal commitments or serious health problems that would limit study
  • Can read, understand and write assignments well in English
  • Can pass a DBS check stating no criminal offences.
