Free three day employability course available

A free three day employability course is being held on Wednesday the 29th, Thursday the 30th and Friday the 31st of January at the Seminar Room, Central Library, Southampton, SO14 7LW.

The course will run from 10am until 3pm and it will provide a free lunch.

The course is free for anyone aged 19+ and living in or around Southampton.

The course aim is to improve your confidence around getting a job and develop your employability skills. This course acts as an introduction to employability, or to refresh existing knowledge.

Over the 3 days, the course will aim to:

  • Improve learners’ confidence and motivation
  • Support learners with CV writing
  • Teach job application tips and tricks
  • Develop interview techniques
  • Help learners plan their move into paid work
