Creative Options recruiting for 3 positions.

Creative Options have 3 positions open for applications: Manager, Art Tutor and Knitting and Crochet Tutor.


A Manager is required for 15 hours a week on a fixed-term contract for 1 year (renewable depending on grant funding). Creative Options are looking for someone with experience in health or social services and preferably experience of mental health issues who has some experience of managing people. The role will be to supervise the project on behalf of the Trustees, helping the sustainability and fund-raising strategies and promotion of the work and networking role. Art Tutor

A new Art Tutor is required. Pay is £30.00 per session which runs from 2-4 p.m. at Central Baptist Church on Devonshire Road in Southampton on Fridays. The post involves teaching between 8-12 people with mental health issues art techniques, mainly traditional drawing and painting techniques, though crafters are also welcome to apply. The group is varied with people who are very skilled in art and others who are more beginners so the new Art Tutor would need to be able to adapt to different levels of skill. A DBS is required. Knitting and Crochet Tutor

A new Knitting and Crochet Tutor is needed for Creative Options weekly drop-in. The post is £30.00 a session and is for 2 hours twice a month between 11.30a.m.-1.30 p.m. or between 12.30-2.30.p.m. on a Wednesday once a fortnight. The post involves teaching people knitting and crochet techniques and working with beginners and those more advanced. Flexibility is essential. DBS clearance required.
