Northam Local Conversation

In 2016, West Itchen  Community Trust  secured People’s  Health Trust (PHT) funding to support  community projects  in Northam.

We ran a number of  activities and community events in Northam (photos below) and spoke to hundreds of local people about their hopes and dreams for the area.

Now we are looking to work with local residents to help you drive the change you want to see around you. And in coming months we will be hosting a number of initiatives in Northam again.

We want to work with residents to develop ideas they want to see, ensuring that people living in Northam are funding and supporting projects for Northam to meet local priorities.

No matter what experience or time you can give, you can be part of making Northam a better place to live, grow and work.

Want to know the area we’re working in?

Do you have ideas for Northam?

We are looking for people who live or work in Northam who are active in the community and would like to help new projects get underway.

Through the Local Conversation West Itchen Community Trust is making grants available to make Northam even a better place to live and work.

The money is for the community to use on activities or projects they want to see in Northam.

Do you want to take part in any of the following:

  • Children and Youth activities
  • Ladies only swimming
  • Men only exercise
  • Gardening
  • Sewing
  • Business start up/market
  • Breakfast club
