West Itchen Community Trust brings People’s Health Trust funds to Northam projects

It is with great pleasure that we can confirm that West Itchen Community Trust has secured People’s Health Trust (PHT) funding to support community projects in Northam.

In 2016, we ran a number of activities and community events in Northam, similar to those in St Marys (right), and spoke to hundreds of local people about their hopes and dreams for the area.

Now we are looking to work with local residents and would-be entrepreneurs to help you drive the change you want to see around you.

In coming months we will be hosting a number of initiatives in Northam again.

We want to work with residents to develop ideas they want to see, ensuring that people living in Northam are funding and supporting projects for Northam to meet local priorities.

You will have support and advice from West Itchen Community Trust and our partners. And we will also be offering training and mentoring to potential start-up businesses, after a number of residents expressed a desire to explore business opportunities.

No matter what experience or time you can give, you can be part of making Northam a better place to live, grow and work.
