Solent University Volunteering Fair

Solent Futures is Solent University’s Careers, Employability & Enterprise service and we are working with Solent’s Students’ Union for National Student Volunteering Week (11 – 17 February, 2019)

On Tuesday 12 February we are inviting local charities into our Spark building to meet Solent students and recent graduates who may be interested in volunteering and finding our more about working in the Third sector.

This is a great opportunity for charities to raise their profile on Solent’s campus and to meet our students and recent graduates. You will have a table and two chairs for the session. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Spark and the Solent Futures’ team will be on hand to look after you.

If you can spare a member of staff to come along to the event we would love to offer you a space and enable you to connect with your volunteers and potential workforce of the future!

We will be promoting this event as part of the Volunteering week via Solent official social media channels, through Solent Futures and the Students’ Union. We hope to have over 100 students visiting throughout the day from a range of courses and year groups.

In addition, we have also recently updated our information for employers on our website which you can view here:
