#SoGood50 with Southampton Voluntary Services

Southampton Voluntary Services say:

As part of our 50th anniversary celebration Southampton Voluntary Service want to celebrate the fantastic contribution made by volunteers and voluntary organisations in the city so we are inviting local groups to contribute a written piece with photos or other visuals explaining how their work makes a difference and /or about the fantastic things volunteers do in the city.

These stories will be put together into a display presentation titled ‘SO:GOOD:50’ to be launched in February 2019 at the end of our 50th anniversary year to show how voluntary services will continue to play an important part in future city life .  The project is about celebrating the contribution of voluntary services to city life and encouraging future involvement.  Launching the project, CEO Jo Ash CBE said,

“In our 50 years Southampton Voluntary Services has worked with hundreds of local voluntary groups and individuals who have all contributed to creating a rich and vibrant city. We have developed So:GOOD:50 to highlight and celebrate their contributions and to bring us all closer together.’

Join in:  There is no word limit but 2-sides A4 maximum. Entries can be in visual, media or written form to suit you and should be submitted as soon as possible . SVS aim to digitalise where they can. If you don’t feel confident in writing up your story, then let us know and we can come an interview you instead.
