Have your say on the council’s budget proposals

Southampton City Council has made £136.4 million savings over the last seven years and needs to make another £15.05 million savings by 2020/21. Income from the council tax only covers 17% of total council expenditure.

The Council are running a range of consultations to gather views on proposals to deliver a balanced budget for the council. A final decision on the budget will be taken by Full Council in February 2019.

It is very important that City Council get your feedback before they make any decisions. Please take the time to have your say by completing the budget consultation as well as any of the other three related specific consultations which may be of interest to you.
