Kick start 2019 with a plan for healthy living to help you lose weight, drink less and save money!

 

Why not embrace Dry January and cut out booze completely next month?  Even if you simply cut down rather than totally ban booze, you’ll reduce your risk of over 60 health conditions which are related to drinking alcohol.

 

Doctors recommend you drink no more than 14 units of alcohol a week – that’s no more than six pints of 4% lager or six glasses of wine a week and ideally less. As the average pint of beer or glass of wine contains around 200 calories, you’ll quickly see how drinking less can help you lose weight.

Planning Meeting for 1st Unity Cricket Festival

7pm Monday at The Ageas Bowl, Botley Rd, West End, Southampton SO30 3XH. This meeting is for all the people who have registered their interest with Unity 101 previously and for those who love or play cricket, to attend. The meeting will allow attendees to find out about the day’s schedule and the festival and how it takes place.

No Limits Trading Tea and Toast Networking event

Starting at 8 am, Tuesday 26th March – toast and hot drinks will be available at 35 The Avenue, Southampton SO17 1XN, until 9:30 am. The idea behind this is to provide an opportunity for social enterprises and local businesses/organisations to come together and meet to look at ways of working together.
