Clean Air Network Launched

Clean air network

Southampton City Council and the Environment Centre officially launched the new Clean Air Network at the Solent Conference Centre last week.

A wide range of people from businesses, the community, the health sector, schools, charities and other local authorities attended. The Network has been set up as an easy way for people from every walk of life to look at the changes that they can make, and to share solutions to reduce pollution levels.

Speakers included the Director of Public Health for Southampton and Portsmouth, Dr Jason Horsley, and Cabinet member for improving air quality, Councillor Christopher Hammond.

You can join the Clean Air Network on social media. Follow @CleanAirSoton on Twitter or like @Clean Air Network on Facebook.
