Free community Workshops with NST – A Marriage of Minds

Nuffield Southampton Theatres are running a series of free community workshops across Southampton to create a unique version of their Christmas show, Cinderella, opening end of November.

Based on the major themes of love and marriage featuring in several shows at NST, the workshops taking place will look at the differences and similarities in the traditions of love and marriage across various cultures within Southampton.

All involved will get the opportunity to express their ideas and traditions in various ways including photos and word maps, to contributing to a fantastic costume exhibited during the run of Cinderella.

Workshops are run in different locations and with some groups including WICT, Womans Integration Group and Clear/Sol at the following days and times:

The Friday sessions at the NST will be run by Maha, Quassila and Farra who are from St Marys. Maha and Quassila are also two of the new Community Action group members in St Mary’s.
