Could you foster?

Foster carers provide stable homes for children who cannot live with their birth families at the present time. Children who come into the care of Local Authorities are from a wide variety of backgrounds.

As a foster carer for Southampton City Council, you can be a single male or female. You can be in a same sex relationship. You can be married, separated or divorced – it really doesn’t matter, as long as you can provide a stable and caring home to enable these children and young people to move into the future confidently and to lead fulfilling lives.

Come along and find out more at our fostering information stand on Tuesday 17th September at Shirley Library between 10am and 12 noon or visit www.southampton.gov.uk/fostering.
