Anticipatory grief session available for carers

Carers in Southampton are holding an anticipatory grief session on Thursday the 17th of October for carers caring for a family member close to the end of life or who has advanced dementia.

The grief session will offer:

  • guidance from a nurse or counsellor
  • preparation for life after your caring role ends
  • advice and practical next steps
  • tips of rediscovering a meaningful life

It will be held between 1.30-4pm at the Cafe Down the Lane, Southampton Mencap, 187A Portswood Road, Southampton, SO17 2NF.
