West Itchen Community Trust Ltd is a social enterprise established for the community development and regeneration of inner-city Southampton.
As a social enterprise we make our money from commercial property investment but our profits are re-invested into the West Itchen area. We do not have shareholders, we have members and together we are supporting a vibrant community.
Our Mission is:
To work as an independent Trust to continue with the regeneration of the West Itchen area, to champion its needs and to assist the aspirations of the people living and working there.
To develop the assets of the Trust and to assist other organisations in the area bid for funds.
Our Mission Statement has been developed into our Vision for the area:

Acorn Business Park re-opens, Bringing new business to inner-city Southampton
After a complete overhaul of the site from the foundations up, the Acorn Business Park was officially re-opened by Leader of Southampton City Council, Cllr Simon Letts, and the Chair of West Itchen Community Trust, Reginald Ruel, on Tuesday 13th September with dignitaries and the first new tenants attending.September 23, 2016
Northam Fun Day: Providing activities and Celebrating Northam Community
Open to all, this free local event at Northam Community Centre on Sunday 14 August celebrated diversity and displayed the new activities developed by local residents in Northam in recent months.

Solent Mind Peer Support Project at Ropewalk Community Garden
2 – 4 pm, Every Tuesday at Ropewalk Community Garden, behind West Itchen Community Trust Centre on the Ropewalk, 53 Derby Road, SO14 0DJ. The session enables people to meet new people, develop new skills and enhance old skills, whilst working out-doors. See the Solent Mind website for details.
